Meet Joseph Bowen
Joseph Bowen is an Idaho Mediation Association certified mediator and listed among the Idaho Supreme Court’s Civil and Child Custody preferred mediators. He holds a Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an engineering degree from BYU.
Joseph’s background as an attorney, judicial law clerk, and business professional gives him a deep understanding of how legal and personal conflicts unfold. He understands how disputes escalate—and how to guide people toward creative, workable resolutions that avoid the expense and stress of litigation.
More importantly, it gives him perspective on how they can be resolved thoughtfully and efficiently. He believes most disputes don’t need to be decided by a judge—they need a structured conversation, a creative mindset, and a calm guide.
Clients appreciate his steady, respectful approach and his focus on helping people reach workable agreements so they can close the chapter and move forward with their lives.
Joseph regularly volunteers in the Ada, Boise, and Bonneville County community mediation programs.
